Teaching Nursing Sciences in Bachelor programs:
International perspectives

8 & 9 June 2015
Lausanne - Switzerland

Nursing is taught at a bachelor level all over the world. Bachelor in nursing degree programs are typically spread over 3 to 4 years of studies. The contribution of this level of education to quality of care has been clearly documented. However, there is not a lot of evidence stating the importance of teaching “nursing sciences” at the undergraduate level.

An international encounter of nursing faculty and experts will attempt to shine a new light on the contribution of the teaching of “nursing sciences” to the curriculum and its relation to research, evidence and quality of care.
