Biographie
Léo Pomar est Professeur associé dans la filière sage-femme de HESAV. Sage-femme spécialisé en échographie et en médecine fœtale, avec un Master en Physiopathologie fœtale et un Doctorat en Sciences de la vie, il est expert clinique pour les anomalies cérébrales fœtales et les infections congénitales. Son expertise en neurologie fœtale, en épidémiologie et en infectiologie périnatale, lui permet d'enseigner et de diriger des activités de recherche dans ces domaines. Ses publications sur les infections à virus Zika (BMJ 2018, UOG 2017 & 2020, Nature 2021), à SARS-CoV-2 (Lancet 2020, JAMA 2020, Viruses 2021), liées à la toxoplasmose (Prenat dianosis, 2020) ou à d'autres pathogènes émergents pendant la grossesse sont considérées comme des références. Il bénéficie également d'une expérience éditoriale pour la revue Viruses.
