Dans le cadre de la première conférence intitulée « Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare », les intervenants discuteront d’applications actuelles et futures de l’IA (Intelligence Artificielle) dans le domaine des soins.

Ce partenariat avec swissnex Boston a pour objectif de présenter aux étudiant.e.s et au personnel de HESAV ainsi qu’aux partenaires les thématiques du futur dans le domaine de la santé, en leur donnant ainsi des pistes pour aborder les pratiques de soins de demain. En effet, swissnex Boston est une plateforme idéale pour renforcer l’internationalisation au sein d’une Haute école, pour promouvoir l’innovation et pour élargir l’horizon de ses étudiant.e.s. La ville de Boston est au coeur de l’innovation en santé et représente donc l’endroit idéal pour apprendre de ses universités et expert.e.s qui sont parmi les meilleur.e.s au monde.

With the support of the Board of Higher Education of the Canton Vaud (DGES), the International Affairs Office of HESAV and swissnex Boston are pleased to launch a cycle of online conferences around the theme of Innovation in Healthcare.

The first conference will cover the topic of Artificial Intelligence and its applications to Healthcare.

This partnership with swissnex Boston aims to expose HESAV’s students and audience to tomorrow’s healthcare topics, and also to inspire them and empower them to shape tomorrow’s healthcare practice. Swissnex Boston is an exceptional platform to reinforce internationalization for a higher education institution, to foster innovation and to broaden the horizon of its students. Ignacio Fuentes, directeur de programme à la MIT Jameel-Clinic pour la recherche en IA et COO au MIT Quest for Intelligence
Dans ses fonctions, Ignacio vise le développement de travaux de recherche de pointe dans les domaines de l’IA, des sciences de la vie et de la médecine, tout en construisant un réseau à fort potentiel pour la croissance d’initiatives impactantes et pour la création de valeur sur le long terme au MIT et dans le monde.

Mr Ignacio Fuentes, Program Director at MIT Jameel-Clinic for AI Research and COO at MIT Quest for Intelligence
Ignacio Fuentes is the managing Director at the Jameel Clinic for Machine Learning in Health at MIT. In this role, he aims to develop excellent research work in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, life sciences and medicine, fostering a strong community committed to growth and impact to create longstanding value at MIT and in the world.

Adam Yala, candidat PhD au MIT CSAIL, membre NSF et NIT EECS
Les intérêts de recherche d’Adam se situent à la croisée entre l’apprentissage automatique et l’oncologie. Selon lui, l’innovation algorithmique peut créer des prestations de soins plus précises et équitables. Il a développé des algorithmes en lien avec les risques de cancer et le dépistage personnalisé. Ses modèles basés sur la mammographie ont été cliniquement implémentés au MGH et utilisés pour analyser des milliers de mammographies.

Mr Adam Yala, PhD Candidate at MIT CSAIL, NSF Fellow and NIT EECS Fellow
Adam’s research interests lie in the intersection of Machine Learning and Oncology. He believes that algorithmic innovation can create more precise and equitable healthcare. He has focused on developing algorithms for future cancer risk and personalized screening. His mammography-based models for cancer risk have been clinically implemented at MGH and have been used to interpret hundreds of thousands
of mammograms.
